Dr. Postl is the Dean of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences and Max Rady College of Medicine. He is also the Vice-Provost for Health Sciences. Dr. Postl offers insight about the growing disparities between indigenous and non-indigenous communities in Canada. As the founding president and CEO of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), he describes these disparities as offshoots of “systemic racism.” Dr. Postl’s interview, while hard hitting and non apologetic, casts an optimistic view of the future—where with time, all people live together in harmony and have access to equal opportunities.
